FILM 302 Film Styles: Art & History

Students study influential film styles and periods of filmmaking that continue to influence modern artists, culture, and media. Students learn how cinema has both shaped and been shaped by different film styles over time. Through viewing films, research, essays, discussion, and other assignments, students will critically analyze and explore cinematic styles that create meaning in filmmaking and for cultures. Lecture.
