FILM 104 Introduction to Film Art & Style
Films can be understood from a number of perspectives: as technology, as business, as entertainment, as art, and as a socio-cultural artifact that reflects the cultural conditions under which they are produced and received. This course emphasizes the study of film form and style by exploring topics such as narrative, mise-en-scène, visual and sound design, genre, and authorship.
