This course develops various drawing skills used in two-and three-dimensional methods and medium of representation. Methods of perception, technique, composition, critical evaluation, and presentation are studied through representational assignments. Emphasis is placed on orthographic projection and documentation and constructed hard line drawing techniques. Students learn these methods of representation using both digital and analog drawing skills and media. Additional skills in diagramming and more advanced representation techniques develop ideas and skills learned in IDES 114. Prerequisites: ARCH 101, Studio One; or IDES 114, Design Communication 1; IDES 105, Design Studio 1
