MDST 300 Censorship
This course will explore the history of censorship in American pop culture, with a particular emphasis on the film and television industries. Through a combination of lecture, screenings, and discussion, students will examine the ways in which pop culture has become a battleground in the culture wars around violence, sex, race, religion, and politics. 3 units.
